Promoting Kindness
We provide support for student-led activities and leadership to create a kind and inclusive school culture. We facilitate speakers and resources to raise awareness for bullying prevention and to promote acts of kindness.
Change in School Policies
Oftentimes students don't report bullying because nothing is done to stop it. We work with the students to create policy changes within school districts and raise awareness regarding needed changes.
Community Awareness
We raise awareness within the community regarding bullying and student emotional health and provide resources and training on how to identify and better support students and families.
Since 2019
Amaya's Foundation was established in honor of Amaya Storseth to prevent bullying and support student emotional health by creating a change in school culture to prioritize kindness and inclusion.
In an effort to create positive change, Amaya's Foundation has the following focus areas:
- Supporting student leadership in driving change and awareness within schools through Amaya's Club.
- Working with students and administrators to change school policies and procedures to intervene and stop bullying.
- Providing education and resources to students and parents on how to address bullying and promote kindness.
